Movement allows actors to channel impulses, emotions, and intellect through their physicality to create their performances. Through movement, participants will deepen their connection to their bodies, develop presence, and explore the combination between physical movement and character. Great for anyone looking to explore a deeper connection to their body…not just actors! Topics to be covered will include:
· Body Awareness: Discover and redirect postural habits to achieve a grounded, centered,
and dynamic body use.
· Creative Movement: Unleash your imagination and explore movement improvisation.
· Laban: Dive into Rudolf Laban’s principles of movement analysis and expression.
· Relaxation Exercises: Learn techniques to release tension and access a relaxed state.
· Yoga: Cultivate flexibility, strength, and mindfulness through yoga practices
