On the Rocks
This circa 1910 postcard shows one of the huge wooden ice house that lined the shores of Crystal Lake. In the foreground, men split ice cakes with a "breaker bar", guiding them up a nifty ramp and pulley system that hauled the heavy blocks up for storage in the ie house beyond.

Dole Manison - An Old Friend
