A Room for All Seasons

A Room for All Seasons
A Cary family has their dreams come to life in a sunroom courtesy of Lifetime Remodeling Partners

Michael and Stephanie Roberts knew they wanted a sunroom before they even built their home in Cary. “We wanted a living space that had windows and an airy feel,” said Stephanie. “We wanted to feel like we were outside but didn’t want to deal with bugs or the weather.”

The Roberts envisioned a unique four-seasons room, a place to relax and spend time with the family. Their wish list also included an important design element—a hot tub.

To complete their dream project, Michael and Stephanie turned to Lifetime Remodeling Partners. “The team at Lifetime really worked with our needs,” said Stephanie. “We wanted to include the hot tube, but we didn’t want it to be the focus of the room. The guys at Lifetime designed the sunroom so the hot tub had its own space—the room is a custom design, just for us.”

“The project came out to be better than our vision,” said Stephanie. A cedar wall replaced the home’s original siding to make the room cozier. Speakers are built into the wall near the hot tub and seating areas, as well as outside so the Roberts can choose which ones to listen to. Lifetime also brought out flooring samples for the Roberts to choose from to pull the whole room together and make a truly relaxing and inviting living space.

After completing installations, Liftime had their cleaning crew come out to sparkle the entire space.

On top of the great craftsmanship, Stephanie said the crew was great to work with. “Lifetime had the greatest workers.” She said, “They were so sweet to my kids.

The Roberts have three young children. It was important that the design keep them in mind. The design is such that the tub is safely secured and the kids cannot get into it. The kids can play in the room, which is just off the family’s kitchen or they can play outside while Michael and Stephanie sit inside by the window watching.

The Robert’s dream is now a reality. They enjoy relaxing in their hot tub, napping on the couch or having a special meal while the kids are asleep. With a great view of their neighborhood, it’s safe to say the Roberts, with the help of Lifetime Remodeling Partners, have made their dream home a reality.
