The Arboretum of South Barrington is excited to host Wiener Fest on Saturday, September 12, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Main Street Plaza.

This family-friendly event invites dachshund lovers and their four-legged friends to enjoy an afternoon filled with short legs, big personalities, and plenty of tail-wagging fun. Festivities will include wiener races, wiener walks, a dachshund social, a costume parade, photo opportunities, and more.

Wiener Fest benefits Midwest Dachshund Rescue and its mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dachshunds in need.

Advance registration is required only for dachshunds participating in the races. Guests and non-racing dogs do not need to register to attend. Race registration is available here:
