The City of Woodstock is ready to kick off summer as Woodstock Water Works season passes go on sale beginning April 1, 2026. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of Early Bird pricing available through April 30 for discounted pricing on a full season of aquatic fun.
The 2026 season runs Saturday, May 23 through Tuesday, August 11, with opening day featuring two beloved traditions: the annual Melissa O’Leary Memorial Splash Bash and the first day of open swim.
Participants are invited to lace up their sneakers and get splashed in honor of Woodstock Water Works’ beloved Melissa O’Leary. This fun, interactive event includes a 5K Run/Walk and a 1-mile Family Water Run/Walk perfect for all ages and activity levels.
The Splash Bash is designed to be both meaningful and fun, bringing the community together to celebrate Melissa’s legacy while kicking off the summer season.
Event Highlights:
Free swimming and refreshments for runners and their families following the race until 11:00 AM
Participation medals for all, plus awards for top finishers in multiple age divisions
Overall male and female 5K winners receive commemorative plaques
The 1-mile Family Water Run is open to participants registered for either race and offers a shorter, family-friendly option for those looking to join the fun.

Following the event, Woodstock Water Works will officially open for the season.

Children ages 3 and under are admitted free with a paid adult.
Season passes may be purchased online at WoodstockWaterWorks.com or in person at the Dean Street Recreation Center (1201 Dean Street). Passes must be printed at the Rec Center and will not be sold onsite at Woodstock Water Works.
Lap swim for REC Members will transition from Woodstock High School (ending May 19) to Woodstock Water Works beginning May 26. A season pass is required to participate.
